Blog Review 1

The writing and images that always seemed to pull me in were the ones found on DavesExploreAlaska. I like the way that he reflects upon how he will combine new information with his already broad knowledge of science to create lessons for his classes. I can imagine that it would be exciting to be his student!

Dave uses practical examples in his blog. My favorite is the use of the images of a white woodstove and a black one. I can see the students understanding the purpose for learning about heating their home through science! I like the way that this blog asks the reader to contemplate situations in their own life. Another excellent visual image that illustrates that point is the cartoon of the car and how it acts like a greenhouse on hot summer day. This is an example of how a teacher can change lives by giving students real information and reasons for learning! Way to go Dave, I enjoyed reading your blogs!
